Shoes..

 I got new shoes this weekend!!! I know that my hike is still 17 Months, 8 Days, 21 Hours, and 22 Minutes away, but I just had to get some new shoes. You always read about the horror stories of people’s feet trouble on the PCT, so I figure I will use the next 17 months to test out some shoes. I have a pair of hiking boots that I LOVE and they are amazing in WA but I have no need for them in OK. I got a pair of Salomon XA Comp 7 Trail-Running Shoes in size 8.5 (I normally wear a 7). I’m so excited to get out on the trail this weekend for a little test drive. I’m really thinking about buying my pack this month. I want to get my big items before the summer. My plan is to buy the pack, tent, sleeping bag, and mat before the summer so I can’t test drive them out on a few short weekend hikes. I am hoping that if I buy most of the big items well in advance then it will save me some money later on. Once I have the big stuff then its just the little things and food items I will have to buy before.

Should I upgrade???

Do I upgrade or not??? I really want to so I can custom design this bad boy. Okay, no one follows me so I guess it doesnt really matter.
